Some OOTDs

OMG... last week was a crazy week for me!! I had a final on Tuesday which I was freaking out about. I studied 3 days in a row for it, which was worth it because I think I did really well *fingers crossed*. I had another final and project due on Friday BUT... I went to the Jay Z/JT concert on Wednesday. I wasn't planning to drink but I ended up drinking and staying out till 4am. I woke up the next day feeling dead lol. My project was pretty much a nursing research paper which I despise. I'm just so glad my summer school semester is over. Now I have 2 weeks to study and review my nursing skills before I begin working at the hospital for my practicum. I got placed on the Oncology unit = I'm super excited!!

I couldn't decide on what to wear to the Jay Z/JT concert. I've never been to a rap/hiphop concert before so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to go dressy, super casual, or both. I ended up wearing the denim shorts outfit which worked out fine because it got really hot!

The concert was amazing!!!! Me and my girlfriend were actually supposed to sit in the bleachers somewhere but we ran into my boyfriend's friends. They were sitting on the floor in front of the stage and had 2 extra tickets. So they gave it to us! Upgrade of a lifetime lol.

This is an outfit I wore the other day to a family get together.

    1. I quite enjoy EDM concerts more then again, I dislike the whole youngings ruining it. It should always be over 19. Btw I like how your open and honest about how you spend and try to save your ways on getting what you want.

    2. Omg I know! I hate when they have all age EDM events in Vancouver because it always makes me feel so old. Last time that I went to Armin I was in a dress and heels because it was my girlfriend's birthday dinner beforehand. I was surrounded by 15 year olds in fish net stockings and bras with pacifiers in their mouths LOL

    3. LOL tell me about it, I also went to Armin. I thought it would be somewhat dressy I wasn't sure since I haven't been to much EDM concerts here but considering it was 19+ I didn't expect to see fishnet stockings, neon color, shorts and tanks, slut wear etc. totally felt out of place. Overall atleast we look damn good in our dress and heels. =)

  2. Do you like that Tobi tank? I'm looking into getting it in several different colours. It looks like a good Tibi knockoff. Do you find the quality okay? Does it feel cheap or is it well-made?

    Thanks!

    1. Hey Steph!

Yes the Tobi tank isn't that bad for the price I paid. I've purchased quite a bit with Tobi and I find that it is always hit or miss. Firstly, everything is super cheap so obviously the quality is what you pay for. I will say though that the quality for some items isn't bad! When you are purchasing an item make sure you look at the material. If it is 100% polyester (like the black tank top I'm wearing) then it is very flimsy and not that soft = kind of cheap feeling. However, I've purchased other tank tops that are the opposite and feel like good quality. Also, sometimes the colors are brighter in person than on the website so I would stick to darks and neutrals. For example, I bought what I thought was a coral tank top and when I received it, it was pretty much neon lol. On the other hand, my one girlfriend LOVES Tobi. She buys a lot of dresses from there as well as simple crop tops to wear with her bandage skirts.

      Hope this helps!!
