ONE DOWN 4 TO GO!

I bought my first item off of my end of summer checklist today! It was totally unplanned. I agreed to go to the mall with my boyfriend and as we were walking around, he suggested that we go into this store called Plenty because they had sale signs outside. I don't usually shop at this store but I was looking around and noticed a brown leather jacket hanging. When I took a closer look, I saw that it was the Mackage Hidi jacket. I'm not sure what size I am in leather jackets anymore so I asked if I could try it on (so that I can order the Mackage Liat jacket online) and I was shocked to hear that the jacket was 50% off. 

I wasn't originally set on buying the Hidi style, especially in the dark brown color (called "Brick"), but it was really nice when I tried it on!! So... I ended up buying it lol. Not the Mackage jacket that is originally on my shopping list but I'm still super happy with it!

On the Mackage website, the jacket is on sale for $450 CDN before shipping and tax. It's original price is $750 CDN before shipping and tax. I got the jacket today for only $422 CDN :)

I also bought this hair spray because it won best affordable hair spray by beauty insider so many years in a row! It was on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for only $6.99 CDN.

Had movie night today with my boyfriend! Watched World War Z which is a horrible movie (I hate horror movies and will probably not be able to sleep for weeks now). Today was the perfect day though because it was kind of cloudy which made the temperature not too hot and just warm enough to wear a light sweater. My perfect kind of weather!

My end of the summer wishlist

Ok. So there a few things that I want to buy before I go back to school and never shop again (I'm going to try not to shop until I graduate at the end of December lol). After much thought, here are the items that I am planning to get:

#1. Stunning Venetian Mirror

This mirror is from Wisteria.com which is a really nice and high-end furniture company. I'm so in love with this mirror because it suits my bedroom theme (which I will blog about once I'm done) and it fits perfectly on top of my dresser. Venetian mirrors are so romantic and elegant. Wisteria.com only offers shipping within the states but I emailed and asked for a Canadian price which they told me would be $275. I just need to send them a money order!

#2. Tiffany bead bracelet

I'm so angry because I wanted this bracelet but in the bigger sized beads. I can't seem to find it online so I'm guessing that it's now discontinued?! Lesson learned: If you like it buy it ASAP! lol. My girlfriend told me that she has a $250 Tiffany gift certificate and is willing to sell it to me for only $200! Once I grab it from her I'll buy myself this bracelet :D 

#3. Mackage Liat Leather Jacket

This jacket is currently on sale right now but I'm waiting to see if the price will go lower. I used to have 2 Mackage leather jackets but I never wore them so I sold them both. Now I'm totally regretting it!! My boyfriend gave me another Mackage leather jacket for Christmas but it's a tad short on me. I have a long torso so jackets which sit at the hip look better on me. It starts getting cold around September here in Vancouver so this will be a justified purchase ;)

#4. Hermes Silver Wide Clic Clac in Black Enamel

This is a small bottle but that's because you don't need to use much. I use a concealer brush and dab this concealer onto the spots where I need it. Then I blend it before covering all over with my foundation powder. Works great!

Links of London Bracelets

I met up with one of my best friends the other day and saw that she was wearing a cool woven bracelet on her wrist. When I asked her where she got it from, she told me that it was a Links of London bracelet from Holt Renfrew. Both her and her boyfriend got matching bracelets which is super cute!! Now I'm definitely thinking of grabbing one for me and my own boyfriend... except I would need to shell out approximately $500 CDN first lol.
