I've been shopping like a madwoman because things between me and my ex are still really bad.

I actually just bought these sandals while I was on the phone with him because it was a very bad conversation

I think the beige matches my Alexander Wang Rocco

I would wear these with this one piece jumpsuit I bought from Aritzia

I was feeling depressed one day and so I decided to go to the mall for some more retail therapy. I wasn't planning on buying much... initially.

First I went to Zara and bought some jeans. I tried on a bunch of jeans that I bought last summer and none of them fit me anymore because they're too big. I still haven't been eating much lately so I lost a shit load of weight and now none of my stupid bottoms fit! Piss me off

Bought these army green cargo pants. They're very stretchy and comfortable.

But I ended up returning them because I have so many grey pairs of jeans at home

Then I decided to stop by Aritzia to do more retail therapy

Marc Jacobs genius gel foundation

I told the girl that I wanted foundation that wasn't too heavy because I hate the feeling of foundation on my face. This Marc Jacobs one is more like of a gel and it has awesome coverage. Feels super light. I had to go back and exchange this though because the girl at Sephora chose the wrong shade for my face. Made me look retarded. 

Estee Lauder double wear concealer

My gf told me to buy this concealer and it's the best one I've used so far. Very good coverage. Just dab a little on and then use the Sephora brand concealer airbrush (pictured to the right of it) to gently blend it and you will look flawless. I had to exchange the shade of this too.

I have also finally bought myself an e-reader! So excited to get this in the mail because I love reading. I couldn't decided between a Kobo reader (from Chapters) or a Kindle (from Amazon). I spent a lot of time reading reviews for both and I ended up deciding on the new Kindle Paperwhite reader. It just seemed like the Kobo froze a lot when flipping pages, and Chapters/Indigo gave very poor costumer service. I read a lot of stories of them accusing costumers of dropping their e-books which meant it was not longer covered in the warranty. Plus, Amazon offers a wider selection of e-books.

Short trip to the states

I drove a few hours to the states to pick up some packages at the post office and walk around the mall with my sister. I finally didn't get pulled into customs today LOL! My sister was so scared that she was gonna get blacklisted for being "associated" with me, cause you know I'm such a criminal for thinking that I could bring 6 diet pills across the border in my bag. ANYWAYS... I'm pretty happy with the items that I picked up at the post office! Only three things that I ordered a few weeks ago.

I ordered these online because my Sam Edelman flats (the only flats that I own) broke!! I found these Marc Jacob ones on Ebay for only $100 CDN. They are pre-owned but have only been worn twice. They are in pretty much brand new condition and 100% authentic. Aren't they cute! I love bargain shopping.

I actually follow their blog on Blogger so I read about all of the items that go on sale right away lol. I got this shirt on sale for 15 or 25% off (been too long so I can't remember)

Herve Leger looking dress from Ebay

OKAY... I am not a fan of buying "fakes" but spending $1000 on a dress that I will probably only wear once is not something that I can do right now. I will probably indulge in a real Herve Leger dress once I have a full time job, but for now I will have to resort to the lookalikes! This dress I found on Ebay for only $70 CDN. The material is thick and very form fitting. It is also really great quality! I'm wearing a small in the picture and I can barely breathe lol. The style of the dress is also very similar to a Herve Leger dress with a few minor differences, such as the bottom hemline. I will be wearing this to a wedding on Saturday.

After the post office, my sister and I drove a short distance to the mall in Bellingham to look around. My sister didn't end up buying anything but I bought 3 things from Forever 21 and perfume on sale from Target (I'm a shopaholic go figure).

I can't find the link to this jacket on the Forever21 website, but it's army green with pleather sleeves and details. Cost me only $50 USD. Will look so cute with leggings and rain boots! The only problem is that there is no hood, but it comes with a cute collar that can be folded up (see pic on the right)

I love this dress! I think it would be so cute with a Hermes Belt around the waist (guess I'll have to go buy myself one now hehe) and heels. I don't know when I'll be wearing this dress but it's always good to have something in case.

I'm going to both the Drake and Kanye West/Kendrick Lamar concerts so I've been trying to think of outfits to wear. I bought these jean overalls and I'm thinking of wearing them with sneaker wedges, a cropped beater, and a hat. But who knows! It's not really my style lol 

Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana

The last thing that I purchased today! I owned this perfume years ago and absolutely loved it. I was so sad when I finished the bottle but never got around to buying another one. I found this one at Target today for 15% off so it came to $60 USD with tax, which isn't too bad! I usually buy all of my perfume from Sephora but I'm starting to think that it's a ripoff. For example, I bought the new Jimmy Choo perfume from Sephora for around $80 CDN. Yet I have already found the exact same perfume on sale at Winners, TJ Maxx, and Ross!! FML!

I bought this hat online a few weeks ago. I love hats! I actually saw this hat at this men's clothing store when I was with my boyfriend. Of course, I knew I could find it for cheaper online so I waited till I got home to search for one. Buying online is SO much better than in stores! I think this hat came to $40

My girlfriend's wedding is next month so I've been looking for dresses. I found a few Herve Leger dresses on Ebay for about $200-300 bucks but I didn't know what size I am. I went to the store to try them on and omg... they are skin tight. I could NOT zip up the extra small, the small fit me but it was hard to breathe, and the medium felt comfortable but was a little loose around my bust area. I'm wearing a medium in this picture! 

I bought this passport cover yesterday at Chapters. Grey snakeskin print... I couldn't resist!! I thought about buying a Tiffany and Co passport cover a few months ago but I'm glad I didn't because those were around $250 while this one was only $20! This also comes in blue and pink snakeskin. I actually really like shopping at Chapters because they have some pretty cute stuff
