STARTING MY SUMMER PREP EARLY

I am hating school so much right now that I can't stop thinking about summer break!! I've decided to start prepping for my awesome summer early. Here's what I've done so far:

1. I've been going back to working out with my trainer. I've been at the gym almost every day! It's not that I want to lose weight... I want to gain some lean muscle. I need to get back to eating healthy and boost up my energy level. My trainer has put me on a strict protein, veggie and beans diet. It's so hard not giving in to junk food, booze and sugar :( PS: my boyfriend is super excited that I've been eating beans everyday lol

2. I'm getting a head start on updating my summer wardrobe! I just bought the "keepsake lost without you" dress in the mustard color size 2. I was planning to buy this dress from www.singer22.com but they only had the light pink color in stock. Light shades of pink make me look so washed out! So I googled the dress and checked out a bunch of websites. I finally found the dress in mustard on Ebay for $158 (including shipping). I can't wait to wear it! This dress is going to look so cute with beige heels and a nice tan!

3. I'm working on getting all of my laser hair removal done. I bought a voucher from Teambuy a few months ago for unlimited laser hair removal at Laserium downtown. It was around $325 which is cheap for laser hair removal! However, there is a stupid hidden catch. At Laserium, they only allow you to come in for an appointment every 8 weeks between appointments when you are NORMALLY allowed to have laser hair removal done every 4 weeks. PISS ME OFF!

So over the winter break up until now I've done quite a bit of shopping. Shopping that I definitely shouldn't have done since I am a broke and starving student. I couldn't help it though!

It was my boyfriend's birthday on January 4th so I bought him this shirt from BoysCo. I thought that this shirt was hilarious! It might be too small to see but "dirty man" is saying "your undies are mine!". 

 Every boxing day I usually am up early and at the mall by 8am because I'm one of those "keener shoppers". However, this year I ended up sleeping through boxing day because I was up the night before partying with my boyfriend!! I woke up at 6pm lol. I wasn't too upset though because Aritzia carries on their sales after the 26th and so I was still able to pick up some really good deals. The 4 items above came to about $132 which is REALLY GOOD! 

The two blouses were $40 & $30. I would wear them with leggings and heels or boots. I would also wear them with the belt that I bought which was on sale for $30. The last top I figured would be good for school and it was $30. I would wear it with leggings, flat boots and a scarf to keep warm.

  

So I went on an online shoe shopping spree. I always buy shoes from this website www.shoedazzle.com. Their shoes are always $40 plus $10 for shipping. I have ordered so many shoes from that website and I have no complaints! The only thing is, once you order your first pair of shoes they will try to automatically charge you credit each month for a pair of shoes. If you aren't planning on buying anything you need to make sure you click on the option "skip the month" or your credit card will be charged. 

I am also a member of the website www.beyondtherack.com. This site always emails you awesome shopping deals! I just recently ordered a beach bunny bikini through the website because they were on sale for dirt cheap. I ordered the bandeau top on the left and the bottoms on the right. Originally, this bikini set would have cost me around $350 but on beyondtherack.com they were on sale for $60. I HAD to buy it!! I prefer bandeau tops because when you tan you won't have as many tanning lines. The only problem is it makes me look really flat *sigh* 

WINTERBREAK HAS BEEN A WHIRLWIND SO FAR!!

WOW! I didn't realize that I haven't blogged in so long. I thought that I would have had more time to since I am currently on winter break from school right now but... I can definitely say that so much has happened in the past 2 weeks! For starters... I met one of the most amazing guys ever and am head over heels for him. I know that I have only been single for a month but everything about this guy is perfect. If you were to take me... and turn me into a male version... that would be him! We are 100% alike and even have the same favorite things. We both hate cherries but had cherry trees in our backyards growing up... our favorite sub from Duffin's Donuts is barbecue chicken... we both have the same kind of nightmares where we see dark figures (I'll blog about this later)... we are both the non-jealous type and love to joke around with our friends... I could go on forever but I might make some of you puke with my gushyness. I knew this guy from before through friends but never really got to know him until a week ago. We hung out for a day and I have been hanging out with him ever since. On the day of my real birthday (December 29th) I didn't really feel like doing anything. I was sitting on the couch playing angry birds with him when we both decided to spontaneously head out to a club to celebrate. We ended up ordering a bottle of Crown (my favorite) and getting a VIP table for just the two of us. Even though it was just us two I had so much fun dancing around!! Then at the end of the night when we were both drunk he looked me into the eyes and told me that I was perfect. He said that he wanted me to be his girlfriend and I said yes :D A lot of our friends think that we are crazy but the both of us are both crazy people in general. I have never been happier.

My ex-boyfriend on the other hand is still trying to harass me. He stopped sending me rude text messages but is now bothering my friends non-stop, asking about me and wondering what I'm doing. He still has a few of my belongings but I don't even care about them anymore. This guy is seriously insane and needs to go get help for his personal issues. He told my girlfriend the other day that he thinks that he shouldn't have thrown me out of the apartment in the middle of the night and ripped my school notes apart. WOW, NO SH*T YOU IDIOT?!

On a more educational note: I finally received my final marks for school. I am so pleased with all of them! I strongly believe that hard work pays off and anyone is capable of achieving any mark as long as they put in the effort. Yes, some people are "naturally" intelligent and find it easier to understand certain things and I am super jealous of this gift! BUT... that doesn't mean that the rest of us can't get the same mark as them. You just need to spend more time studying which I am perfectly fine with :)

THE OVERDUE BIRTHDAY POST

Since I was so busy with school I didn't really have time to blog about my early birthday celebration. If you scroll a few posts down... you'll see a post about me stressing over a birthday dress. Well, I didn't even end up wearing any of the dresses that I bought because I wore an old Bebe dress instead!! Funny how things end up!

I bought this dress a few years ago. You can't really tell from this picture but there are sequins all over it!

Funny story about this cake. My xboyfriend actually paid for it before we broke up. Haha sucker. My cake was custom made for me from Ganach Patisserie. The flavor that I chose was chocolate veloute = 70% dark chocolate mousse with dark chocolate creme brullee. YUM!

I had my early birthday dinner at CinCin. I was so scared that my exboyfriend would show up but luckily he didn't! I had such a great time on my birthday and it was fun celebrating being single again!

presenting... the world's WORSE bf!!!!

I had my last two finals today!! So some of you are probably wondering what happened between me and my boyfriend (now EX-bf). Let's see.. the both of us usually fight a lot because he acts really immature. So one day he finally said "I'm not happy in this relationship I want a break." I said "Okay I agree with you let's go on a break". Since my xbf was the one who asked to go on a break first, you'd think that he would have been fine with my answer. Nope. Instead he starts RIPPING MY SCHOOL NOTES APART!! He took my textbooks and started throwing them everywhere (and at me) and then he took my binders (which I have kept VERY organized) and started ripping the pages out of them. I was sooooooooo fricken choked. You NEVER mess with my me and my school work!! So I'm trying to gather as many textbooks as I can to bring with me but the crazy psychopath says "NO GET OUT NOW". He grabs me and starts shoving me towards the door so I had to leave them behind. Luckily I pack my backpack every night so I grabbed it as I'm going. Before I can even put my shoes on or get a jacket the asshole threw me out the apartment door. So now I have NO CLOTHES and NONE of my belongings! I had to call my mom and get her to pay for my cab ride home. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in my life.

My xbf is supposed to be a 32 year old grown man and this is how he handles rejection? I thought about it and he is the most pathetic individual I have ever met. I should have left him a long time ago because there were so many warning signs but I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt. I also thought that I could change him to become a better person but I've realized now that it's never your job to change people. My xbf has so many issues that he needs to deal with. He has anger issues, drinking issues, INSECURITY issues. I remember one time I was practicing my presentation out loud so I closed our computer room door. He got so mad at me because he told me I was being "shady". Can you believe that?

ANYWAYS... I'm in a much better and happier place in my life. I'm actually having a lot of fun now that I'm single! I'm probably not going to date for a long time because I'm a little traumatized and I'll be honest in a manhater mood right now. BUT I promised myself that the next guy I date has to be someone who is educated and mature. There's no point in going to nursing school and studying to get high marks when your boyfriend is as dumb as a rock. His stupidity will end up killing your own brain cells. True story!

hello blog, it's been a long time!

OH MY, I haven't blogged in over a week! So much has happened since my last post. Let's see... I am officially single and free again. I broke up with my boyfriend because he has so many issues that he is a pathetic excuse for a 32 year old grown man. Breaking up with him is probably one of the smartest choices I have made in a long time :)

So since we broke up I had to move back in with my family, which I actually don't mind at all! I get to have my own room again and I get to decorate it as girly as I want!! My family just bought a new house so it was perfect timing for me to move back home. The walls of my room are already painted the way that I wanted them. My walls are a light beige color while my ceiling is a dark purple. It is exactly the same color scheme as this room idea from Ikea (which I am now going to copy) so I think that it was meant to be!! My hardwood floor color is the same shade as well!

Both of my parents are really happy that I'm moving back home. My mom has offered to pay off my visa card for me (because I don't work while I'm in school and was depending on my x-bf for financial support) and my dad has even helped me harass my x-bf to get the rest of my stuff back LOL. My parents said that they would go to Ikea with me to buy new stuff for my room so I've already made a list of things that I want to get. When my new room is finished I'll post a picture on my blog. I need to focus on studying for my finals because I really really want to get high 80-90 %.
